Profile

2001年結成、2005年メジャー・デビュー。
ジャンルという既存の枠組みに捉われない音楽性、恋愛から死生観までを哲学的に描いた歌詞で、思春期を過ごす世代を中心に大きな支持を受けている。
若干20才でメジャーデビューし、今もなおシーンの最前線で圧倒的な支持を集め、バンドサウンドのみならず劇伴音楽でも多彩な作曲性を発揮し、非常に高い評価を得ている。
2020年にはメジャーデビュー15周年を記念した配信＆有観客ライブを横浜アリーナで実施し大盛況に終える。
現在、新たな挑戦として、クリエイティブ集団PARTYが開発したヴァーチャル パーク システム「VARP」において、世界40余りの国と地域を対象に新次元ヴァーチャルライブ・エクスペリエンス「SHIN SEKAI」を開催。新次元の音楽体験「ROLE-PLAYING MUSIC」をコンセプトに、最新の音楽体験のあり方を提示し話題となっている。

Formed in 2001 and made the major debut in 2005, RADWIMPS have become known internationally for their wide sound palette, charismatic live show and wild rock.
In 2020, they commemorated their 15th anniversary since their major debut by having the shows in Yokohama Arena along with online streaming.
And from end of the same year, the band launched a virtual music experience "SHIN SEKAI" in collaboration with PARTY, a creative collective, using their in-house virtual park system VARP. The band offered a new way of experiencing music with the concept of "ROLE-PLAYING MUSIC".
